1 million. That’s the number of security jobs we deliver every year for our clients, nationwide. To deliver at this scale, we rely on a network of 200 ACS-accredited Service Partners (SPs) based all over the UK.
Carefully built up over 25 years, our SPs are a valued part of the TKC community. They share our passion for impeccable standards and provide priceless local knowledge and expertise on every job. Each year we recognise their outstanding achievements through the Partner Performance Awards – a chance to showcase those who have gone above and beyond, delivering quality services to our clients, embracing technology and adopting a sustainable mindset along the way.
After careful consideration, we are delighted to announce our 2023 winners, including the first winner in our brand new ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) category!
Technology Award – Britsafe
Our technology is the key to consistent and quality service delivery.
Once jobs are allocated to an SP, an SIA-licensed officer carries out the job following a bespoke workflow, accessed through our partner mobile app. Engagement with the app is essential to maintain transparency and synergy, so we like to celebrate the SPs who demonstrate consistent usage.
Britsafe stood out in this category. They were the only SP to use our mobile app for 100% of their allocated work – an exceptional achievement. Gareth Thomas, Britsafe’s Managing Director, came into our London HQ to accept the award on their behalf.
Performance Award – Protector Group
We pride ourselves on our high standards and choose to work with SPs who share this ambition. The Performance Award recognises the SP who demonstrates exceptional delivery throughout the year.
2023’s winners are Protector Group. They delivered an incredible average response time of 53 minutes on over 21,000 jobs. To top it off, 98% of their jobs were managed through the mobile app, which further demonstrates their commitment to keeping our clients happy!
ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) Award – Copeland Group Services
Our goal is to deliver security with a conscience, and our new ESG Award (judged independently by sustainability experts Alectro) demonstrates our commitment to promoting the incredible work our SPs are doing to help protect the planet and make a positive impact in their local communities.
Our inaugural winners are Copeland Group Services. From sponsoring local football teams and boxing gyms to their transition to an electric fleet to tackle carbon impact, their mission is clear, and they are backing it up with quantitative data and action to progress towards their ESG targets. It was great to see Kyle Disley, their Group CEO / Founder, who visited us at our London HQ to receive the trophy from Chris Russell, our Chief Delivery Officer.
Service Excellence Award – Polsec Group and Capricorn Security Group
Two SPs were chosen as joint winners of the Service Excellence Award, which celebrates the partners who go above and beyond in their service provision.
Polsec Group, a new partner to the network, received high praise from clients for their professionalism and diligent approach to a large-scale roll-out all over Scotland for Atalian Servest and the Scottish Courts. Callum Ainslie, Managing Director, was singled out for his excellent work.
Capricorn Security Group also stood out for taking on a site with scheduled locks and unlocks at very short notice. Clare Howarth, Mobile Services Manager, agreed for Capricorn to carry out this work temporarily until we could find another SP – true collaboration in action!
